What is brazilian jiu-jitsu?
BJJ uses fundamental mechanics of human movement, frames and levers to subdue an opponent, leading to submissions such as joint locks and chokes. BJJ is practiced for fitness, self-defense, and as a popular competitive sport. Throughout the world, people of all ages, sizes and levels of fitness safely train in this challenging and rewarding combat martial art.
Since opening Solarte BJJ in 2017, Jenn has offered a fun and engaged approach to teaching both adults and children.
