We recently finished an eight-week Sequim Women’s Self-Defense series. Congratulations to everyone who completed the entire course!!! Most of the participants were bravely stepping out of their comfort zones to experience more in-depth training than the typical 1.5- or 3-hour seminar. We worked scenario training, escapes, violence prevention concepts, and had great discussions about legalities, mindset and more! There was plenty of repetition and there will be follow-up training to keep their skills sharp!

Self-defense training doesn’t have to be a fear-filled slog. We played a LOT of training games that incorporated fundamental concepts while also being really fun. Here were some of the comments during and after the classes…

Solarte’s self-defense workshops and class series are scheduled for your group’s convenience. For this series, we met every Monday mid-afternoon. For previous groups, we’ve had classes on various weekdays, late mornings and early afternoons. We often schedule 2-4 hour workshops on Saturday afternoons.
